Suneel Lodhi’s Soulful Voice Brings Hanuman Bhajan to Bollywood

Suneel Lodhi is a singer from Bundelkhand who is visually impaired.

He loves singing bhajans and Bundeli folk songs.

He started singing on local trains when he was about 10 or 11 years old.

Some people in his village treated him unfairly because he was blind.

Lodhi continued singing despite this discrimination.

His songs became popular online through Bundeli Duniya.

One Hanuman bhajan received more than 29 million views.

Filmmaker Pankaj VRK then invited him to Mumbai to record songs.

One of those songs, “Maine Tere Hi Bharose,” was used in the film Hanuman Ansh.
