South Korea Power Plant Collapse: Three Dead, Five Trapped
A very big tower at an old power plant in South Korea fell down while people were taking it apart on Thursday.
Sadly, at least three workers died, and two others are thought to have passed away too.
Two more workers are still missing.
Rescue teams are trying hard to find them using special tools and dogs, but it's dangerous because more of the structure might fall.
The President of South Korea has told everyone to do everything they can to save the trapped workers and keep the rescuers safe.
At least three workers are confirmed dead following the collapse of a large structure at a South Korean power station.
Two additional workers were found under the rubble and are presumed dead, bringing the potential death toll to at least five.
Two workers remain missing after the collapse, which occurred Thursday afternoon during demolition.
Rescue efforts are underway but are hampered by the risk of further collapse and are using heat sensors, remote scopes, and search dogs.
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung has ordered a full-scale rescue operation, emphasizing workplace safety and rescuer safety.
