BRO's Project Vijayak Celebrates 15th Anniversary, Announces Plans
Imagine a team called Project Vijayak, part of the BRO, that builds roads and bridges in a cold, high-up place called Ladakh.
They just turned 15 years old!
They're planning to spend lots of money, over Rs 1,200 crore, to make the roads even better, building tunnels and bridges.
They also use special materials and techniques to make the roads stronger and kinder to the environment.
Over the past 15 years, they have built many roads and bridges, including quickly reopening an important mountain pass.
They also held parties and events to celebrate their birthday, remembering soldiers and supporting local people.
They take care of their workers by giving them safe places to live and work.
Project Vijayak celebrated its 15th Raising Day in Kargil.
Announced infrastructure projects worth over Rs 1,200 crore.
Plans include road widening, new tunnels, bridges, and advanced technologies.
Over 1,400 km of roads and 80 bridges built and maintained in Ladakh.
