Salt Lake Roads Overwhelmed by Garbage as BMC Awaits Dumpers
Imagine trash piling up in Salt Lake because the garbage trucks can't keep up.
This is causing a stink and making things look messy.
The city is working on a solution: They're getting new special trucks called hydraulic dumpers to pick up the trash and take it straight to the dump.
They hope to have these trucks on the road by the middle of June.
This should help clean up the streets and make life better for everyone.
Heaps of garbage are accumulating in various parts of Salt Lake, causing unsanitary conditions.
Waste collection is irregular, leading to blocked roads and public inconvenience.
The BMC plans to introduce 12 hydraulic dumpers for direct waste transport to Dhapa.
Six hydraulic dumpers have been procured and are awaiting registration.
The BMC area generates around 400 tonnes of waste daily.
