Uttar Pradesh Approves ₹300 Crore For 14,429 Smart Schools

The Uttar Pradesh government wants more government primary schools to use digital learning tools.

It approved ₹300 crore for this project.

A company called Shreetron India Limited will carry out the work.

Smart classes will be created in 14,429 schools.

The schools will be upgraded step by step, depending partly on how many students they have.

Children will learn through technology as well as regular classroom teaching.

The project may cover more schools if the bidding process produces lower costs.

The government says digital libraries, smart classes and ICT labs can make learning more interesting and useful.
