DHS Reverses Decision on Immigration Oversight Offices After Lawsuit

The US government's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has decided not to shut down three offices that help immigrants and look into complaints.

This change happened because some groups sued the government, arguing that closing these offices was wrong.

These offices help people with things like visa issues and look into problems with how immigrants are treated.

The CIS Ombudsman, for example, has been helping people with long delays in getting their visas or helping international students.

Although the government changed its mind, the groups who filed the lawsuit still want the government to fully restore the offices and ensure all complaints are thoroughly investigated.
