Telangana Prepares for Phase-1 Grama Panchayat Elections

The first phase of elections for Grama Panchayats is happening in many districts of Telangana.

Over 56 lakh voters will choose their leaders in 4,236 Panchayats.

Some wards already have leaders picked without voting, but many still need elections.

Special arrangements like webcasting and extra observers are in place to make sure everything goes smoothly.

The voting happens in the morning, and the counting starts in the afternoon.

Candidates are making big promises to win votes, like giving milk, eggs, and even jobs.

All the materials and staff are ready to go.

The police have also seized a lot of money, liquor, and other items to keep the elections fair.
