Pune Metro Plans 20-KM Corridor from Shivajinagar to Kondhwa
The Pune Metro is planning to build a new 20-kilometer train line.
This line will connect Shivajinagar to Kondhwa, with an additional small line to NIBM.
The project's plans, called the DPR, are expected to be finished in three months.
This new metro line is meant to help people get around the Kondhwa–Yewalewadi area more easily, as this area currently has a lot of traffic.
The government needs to approve the plan before construction can begin.
The project is part of a larger plan to expand the metro system.
A 20-kilometer metro corridor from Shivajinagar to Kondhwa, with a spur to NIBM, is planned.
The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the corridor is expected to be completed in three months.
Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) is overseeing the project.
The new metro line aims to improve connectivity to the Kondhwa–Yewalewadi area.
Approval from the state and central government is needed before the project moves forward.
