US Visa Waiver Program: 41 Nations Can Enter the US
The United States allows citizens from 41 countries to visit without a regular visa, but they need permission first.
This program, called the Visa Waiver Program, lets people stay for a maximum of 90 days.
To use it, travelers must get approval through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) before their trip.
The ESTA is valid for two years, unless the traveler's passport expires sooner.
However, if you've been to certain countries like North Korea or Cuba, or have dual nationality with restricted countries, you can't use the VWP.
You would then need to apply for a standard visa.
This program makes it quicker to enter the US for those who qualify.
Citizens of 41 nations can enter the U.S. without a visa.
Travelers must secure prior approval via ESTA.
