Iran Awaits Trump Response as Pakistan Visit Draws Scrutiny

Iran is waiting to hear whether US President Donald Trump will respond to its conditions for ending the war.

Iran says Qatar has already delivered those conditions to Washington.

Iran also says Pakistan’s interior minister is not currently carrying a new US peace proposal.

The minister’s visit to Tehran is described as being mainly about Iran-Pakistan relations.

Iran wants the fighting to stop everywhere, frozen Iranian money to be released, and the naval blockade to end.

Iran says it has seven conditions for negotiations.

At the same time, the United States has warned its citizens about possible dangers in several West Asian countries.

Reports of military movements and air-defense activity have added to concerns that the conflict could grow.
