Low Pressure Brings Thunderstorms and Lightning to Gangetic Bengal

A weather system called a low-pressure area is near Gangetic West Bengal.

It may bring thunderstorms and lightning until Wednesday morning.

Kolkata and nearby parts of south Bengal have recently felt hot and humid.

Some places may also experience strong winds of 40-50 kmph.

The system is expected to move toward Jharkhand and north Odisha.

Heavy rain may fall in several sub-Himalayan districts.

Strong winds are also expected near the coasts and the north Bay of Bengal.

Because of this, fishermen were told to stay out of the sea until Tuesday morning.
