India Aims for Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers Spot in Historic Bengaluru Playoffs

Imagine a big tennis tournament for women's teams, like a World Cup for tennis.

India is playing in a special round called the playoffs in their home city, Bengaluru.

They will play against teams from the Netherlands and Slovenia.

If India wins enough matches against these teams, they can move on to the next big stage next year.

This is a very important chance for women's tennis in India because it's only the second time they've reached this round, and it's the first time they get to host it.

Their captain is excited and says they have a plan to try their best against strong opponents.
