RS Chairman Honors Armed Forces
On December 7, the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, C P Radhakrishnan, led a special day called Armed Forces Flag Day.
This day is to honor the brave soldiers who protect our country.
The Chairman asked everyone, including the public, to donate money to a special fund called the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.
This fund helps the families of soldiers who have been hurt or lost their lives while serving.
The Chairman even donated his entire month's salary to show his support.

Rajya Sabha Chairman C P Radhakrishnan led the observance of Armed Forces Flag Day on December 7.

The fund supports war widows, dependents of battle casualties, and ex-servicemen, including the disabled.
The Chairman appealed to all members of the house and the public to contribute to the fund.
He set an example by donating his entire one month’s salary to the AFFDF.
