Natya Tarangini Celebrates 18 Years of Kuchipudi Dance in Hyderabad
A special dance school in Hyderabad called Natya Tarangini is celebrating its 18th birthday on November 8.
It started with just four students but has grown a lot since 2007.
A dancer named Yamini Reddy, who learned from famous teachers, started the school to teach the beautiful Kuchipudi dance to others.
She wants to make sure the old dance traditions are passed on to new students, while also making it fun for them today.
The celebration will show off what the students have learned, with both traditional and new kinds of dances.
Yamini's own teachers and parents, who are also famous dancers, will be there too.
It's a free event for anyone who loves dance.
Natya Tarangini, a Kuchipudi teaching institute, was established in Hyderabad in August 2007 with four students.
The institute was founded by Kuchipudi artiste Yamini Reddy, daughter-disciple of Raja-Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy.
Natya Tarangini is celebrating its 18th anniversary on November 8 at CCRT Amphitheatre, Madhapur, Hyderabad, with free entry.
The celebration will feature traditional and innovative Kuchipudi performances by students, including a special item on unity in diversity.
Yamini Reddy aims to pass on the legacy of Kuchipudi with personal attention to each student, balancing tradition with contemporary relevance.
