NEET PG Counselling Deadlines Clash With AIQ Rules
Some students who took the NEET PG exam in Telangana are having a problem.
The dates for choosing colleges through the All India Quota (AIQ) and the State quota are overlapping.
The State quota deadline was extended to December 21, 2025, but the AIQ registration closes on December 20, 2025.
This means students who got seats through AIQ Round 1 couldn't resign their seats in time because the State quota details weren't out yet.
They are asking the authorities to fix this so they don't miss out on better opportunities.
Both the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) have tried to help, but the main issue is still not solved.
Students are feeling stressed and unsure about their studies because of this.
NEET PG students in Telangana face conflicting counselling timelines between AIQ and State quota.
Phase-1 reporting deadline extended to December 21, 2025, by KNRUHS.
AIQ registration portal closes on December 20, 2025, causing a one-day overlap.
Students who secured AIQ Round 1 seats couldn't resign in time due to delayed State quota details.
Students urge MCC to reopen AIQ resignation window and improve coordination between authorities.
