Manipur Govt. Vows to Honor Agreements, Road Tensions Remain
The Manipur government says it will keep its promises made to the Kuki-Zo groups.
A group called KZC said they would reopen a highway.
However, some Kuki-Zo groups disagree, especially concerning the right of Meitei people to move freely through Kuki-Zo areas.
Another group, COCOMI, opposes the government's actions.
The SoO agreement was extended with Kuki-Zo armed groups.
