Iran Executes Two Men Over January Protests

Iran has executed two men for their involvement in protests that happened in January.

These protests were against the government, and the security forces killed many protesters.

The two men, Abolfazl Sepahi-Badjani and Amirhossein Safari-Hosseinabadi, were accused of killing four security force members.

The United Nations says that at least 24 people have been executed for their roles in the protests.

Human Rights Watch says that at least 50 people have been executed for vague national security charges.

The U.S. and Israel have been in a war with Iran, which started after the U.S. president warned Iran not to shoot protesters.

The war has been going on for months, with a truce that paused major fighting but has since resumed.
