SpiceJet to Add 100 Daily Flights
SpiceJet, an airline in India, is planning to add 100 more flights every day during the winter season.
This is because there is a lot of demand for flights.
The government recently reduced some flights from another airline, IndiGo, to help it stabilize.
SpiceJet has already added 17 new planes to its fleet and plans to add more.
This will help them fly more often and connect more places.
They want to make sure there are enough flights for everyone who needs to travel.
SpiceJet plans to add up to 100 additional daily flights during the winter schedule, subject to regulatory approvals.
The airline has inducted 17 aircraft into active operations in the past two months.
SpiceJet's current winter schedule allows for 1,568 flights per week, a 20.89% increase from the last winter.
The growth compared to the summer schedule is 26.45%.
SpiceJet aims to add more aircraft, maximize aircraft utilization, and strengthen connectivity.
