West Bengal CM Urges Skilled Professionals to Return, Promises Investment
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari asked skilled people from the state who work elsewhere to come back.
He said the government wants to create more jobs for educated young people.
He also wants more companies to invest in West Bengal.
He made the remarks at the opening of a new LTM technology campus in New Town.
The first phase has two large buildings.
About 5,800 engineers and other professionals can work there.
The government promised LTM 10 additional acres for a data centre.
The campus will work on artificial intelligence, data, cloud and digital engineering.
LTM also plans to build four more towers at the site.
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari urged skilled and educated professionals working elsewhere in India and abroad to return to West Bengal.
Adhikari said creating jobs for educated youth and rebuilding Bengal as an investment destination were government priorities.
The state promised LTM an additional 10 acres for a data centre and support for future investments.
Phase-I of LTM’s Ananda Niketan campus has two buildings spanning nearly eight lakh square feet and can accommodate about 5,800 professionals.
The campus focuses on artificial intelligence, data, cloud and digital engineering, with plans for four more towers at the site.
