Trump, Carney Trade Tariff Threats as Canada-US Talks Stall
The United States and Canada are arguing about a trade deal.

Carney called this a trade war because Canada had been attacked with tariffs.
Trump has also repeated a joke about Canada becoming the 51st U.S. state.
In leaked audio, JD Vance made fun of Carney’s tough talk toward Trump.
Vance also said he liked Carney and believed Canada had given up ground on some issues.
Donald Trump renewed his “51st state” jibe and accused Canada of seeking U.S. benefits without becoming a state.
Mark Carney said the proposed U.S. trade terms were “uneconomic” and “unfair,” prompting him to leave negotiations.
