Pune Street Art Festival Transforms Road into Art Platform
Imagine a very busy street in Pune that's usually full of cars and people rushing around.
On November 16, a special part of this street will become a giant outdoor art show!
Art students and other artists will show their paintings, sculptures, and pottery.
People can walk around, see all the amazing art, and even talk to the artists about their work.
It's like a big party for art, and it's meant to help everyone, especially kids, discover how fun and important art is.
The artists can also sell their creations directly to you, keeping all the money they earn.
This event is inspired by a similar big art fair in another city and is happening because the college and the city's government are celebrating anniversaries.
The first Street Art Festival 2025 will be held on November 16 on JM Road, Pune.
Organized by Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Fine Arts and Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), it aims to bring art to the public.
The festival will feature 50 artists showcasing various art forms like painting, sculpture, pottery, and ceramics.
It will include opportunities for visitors to interact with artists, understand their creative process, and purchase art with zero commission.
The event is inspired by Bengaluru's Chitra Santhe and aims to promote art appreciation and provide visibility to artists.
