About 70 families across two housing societies fear losing land beneath their homes.
Andheri police registered an FIR against developers Mohit Jain and Vivek Jain and buyer Sandeep Bajoriya after a society secretary’s complaint.
The societies allege developers promised to convey the property to them but transferred portions to Bajoriya instead.
The complaint says 1,162.81 square metres was conveyed in June 2025, with alleged transfers totaling 2,815.50 square metres by December 2025.
Bajoriya denied wrongdoing, while police said they would examine registrar records and court orders; the matter is sub judice.
