RSS Chief Bhagwat to Lead Five-Day Coordination Meeting in Visakhapatnam
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is a big volunteer organisation in India.
Its leader, Mohan Bhagwat, is going to Visakhapatnam on August 16.
He will have a five-day meeting with about 300 other leaders.
They will meet at a school in Anandapuram, about 28 km from the city.
The meeting is called the All India Coordination Meeting.
They will talk about keeping people safe and healthy by stopping drug use.
They will also talk about how people can live together in balance and how young people can learn important values.
This meeting is extra special because the RSS is celebrating 100 years.
Because Mr. Bhagwat is a very important person, police will protect him with special security.
He will leave the city on August 22.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and senior leaders will hold their annual Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak in Visakhapatnam for five days from August 16.
Around 300 delegates from 34 organisations will attend the coordination meeting at Gudilova School in Anandapuram, about 28 km from Visakhapatnam.
Agenda topics include population imbalance, Nasha Mukti (de-addiction), youth awareness, Panch Parivartan and the Bharatiya concept of development.
The meeting coincides with the RSS centenary year and aims to strengthen coordination and cooperation among frontal organisations.
Mohan Bhagwat, who is under Z-Plus security, will leave the city on August 22; police are making security arrangements at the venue.
