Telangana Launches Vehicle Registration at Showrooms

Starting this Saturday, people in Telangana can register their new cars and bikes right at the showroom where they buy them.

This new rule applies to vehicles bought from January 24 onwards.

The showroom will send all the needed papers online to the transport department.

Once approved, the registration number will be given, and the registration certificate will be sent by post.

This means buyers won't have to go to the transport office anymore.

The transport minister says this is part of making things easier for people.

They also did a test run on Friday, and it worked well.

The department is also working on more safety measures for vehicles.
