October 2025: Chhath Puja & Navratri Dates and Rituals

Chhath Puja is a festival honoring the Sun God, mainly in North India, asking for blessings.

It involves offering prayers to both the setting and rising sun.

In 2025, the main day is October 27th.

Navratri, also in October, celebrates Goddess Durga over nine nights, each with a color.

Day 3 is royal blue and is dedicated to Goddess Chandraghanta.

Chhath Puja involves four days of rituals with water offerings.

During Navratri, worshippers offer milk and kheer to the goddess.
