FAIMA Seeks Relief as Secondary DNB Seats Face Cancellation

FAIMA Seeks Relief as Secondary DNB Seats Face Cancellation

About 20 doctors got seats in Secondary DNB training programs in India.

Their admissions are now at risk because they did not submit No Objection Certificates on time.

FAIMA says the doctors could not get the certificates because state health departments were slow.

The doctors had already moved, paid fees and started working at their hospitals.

FAIMA wants the doctors to receive extra time to submit the documents.

NBEMS says the NOCs were always required during registration.

Applicants had signed forms saying they understood the rules.

The disagreement is about whether the doctors should lose their seats because of the delayed certificates.
