Surat: Teen Arrested After Car Gets Stuck on Dumas Beach During Stunts
Imagine a young person wanted to show off by driving a fancy car on the beach, like a stunt.
But the beach is not a road, and the car got stuck in the water!
The police had already told people not to drive cars on the beach because it's dangerous, especially when lots of people are visiting.
Because the car got stuck and videos went viral, the police found out who it was.
They arrested the young driver, who is only 18 years old.
The car had to be pulled out with a big crane, and the water might have damaged it.
Now, the police are also telling the car's insurance company, so the owner might not be able to get money to fix the car.
An 18-year-old was arrested for driving and performing stunts with his car on Dumas beach in Surat.
The car, a Mercedes C220, became stuck in the sea during the stunts.
A crane was used to remove the car from the beach.
The incident occurred despite a police order prohibiting driving on Dumas beach to ensure public safety.
The youth has been booked under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act.

Public Safety
Arguments for Stricter Enforcement
Driving on the beach poses a significant risk to the public, especially during peak tourist times like Diwali holidays, necessitating strict enforcement of driving bans.
Arguments for Lenient Penalties
While safety is important, the incident was a one-time stunt, and the focus should be on education and rehabilitation rather than severe punishment for a young individual.
Legal Violations
Arguments for Stricter Enforcement
The teenager violated specific police commissioner orders and multiple sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, warranting legal action.
Arguments for Lenient Penalties
