Russia Plans Venus Mission, Space Station Crew Docks
Russia is planning a new mission to Venus, called Venera-D, which means they'll send a spacecraft to study the planet.
They're going to start designing the mission in 2026, and it should launch before 2036.
The mission will involve a lander that touches down on Venus, a balloon probe to float in the atmosphere, and an orbiter to study the planet from space.
Scientists from Russia are working with a space company to prepare for the mission.
In related news, astronauts from the US, Japan, and Russia recently arrived at the International Space Station.
