Woman Accuses Husband of Deception, Assault
A woman named Lavika Gupta got married in January 2024.
After the wedding, she found out that her husband, Sanyam Jain, was completely bald and used a hair patch, which she said was not true before they got married.
She also accused him of hiding his real income and education.
She said he threatened her, showed her private photos, and even hit her.
She also said he made her bring illegal drugs from Thailand.
The police have started investigating and have charged the husband and his family with several crimes.
Lavika Gupta accused her husband, Sanyam Jain, of hiding his baldness and using a hair patch before their marriage.
She also alleged that he concealed his true income and educational background.
Gupta claimed her husband blackmailed her with private photos, assaulted her, and pressured her to bring marijuana from Thailand.
A police complaint was filed against Jain and his four in-laws under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the allegations.
