Telangana Minister Reviews Tribal Welfare Schemes, Seeks Emergency ITDA Funds
Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar visited Utnoor to check how welfare programs are working.
These programs support SC, ST, BC and disabled communities.
He said the government needs to provide more money for tribal welfare.
He plans to ask Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for ₹42 crore in emergency funds.
Officials gave school supplies and bed sheets to girls at a tribal residential school.
The minister also opened an IF panel in a classroom and ate lunch with the students.
Another leader asked officials to complete paperwork so more central money could be received.
Local lawmakers also asked officials to help resolve tribal land, forest and housing concerns.
