Mumbai Mayor Offers Vehicle to Help Newborn Reach Home

A new baby and her mother needed a ride home from the hospital.

They waited for almost an hour but could not find an autorickshaw.

The weather was rainy and windy.

Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde saw that they needed help.

She offered her official vehicle to take them home.

The baby and her mother reached Khairani Road in Kurla safely.

During the trip, Tawde held the baby and wished the family well.

She also gave the mother a box of chocolates.
