'Agadha' Review: A Different Take on the Horror Thriller Genre
A new scary movie called 'Agadha' is playing in theatres for people who like horror and mystery.
It was made by a director named MS Raju.
The story takes place in a big forest called Bastar.
A woman named Mahima dies in a mysterious way, and her companion is hurt too.
Mahima's cousin Mahadevi has special powers, so she decides to find out what happened.
She discovers an evil force called Agadha caused Mahima's death.
Strange things start happening to Mahadevi's family after that.
The movie is different from most scary movies because it does not rely on jump scares.
The reviewer especially liked Kamakshi Bhaskarla, the actress who plays Mahadevi.
The review says the movie is entertaining, but it might not be for everyone.
'Agadha' is a horror thriller directed by MS Raju that blends mystery, horror, mythological elements and suspense.
Set in the forests of Bastar, the film follows Mahima (Ulka Gupta), who dies after her companion Bablu is hacked to death.
Mahadevi (Kamakshi Bhaskarla), Mahima's cousin with supernatural powers, investigates and discovers a sinister force called Agadha caused her death.
The review praises the film for avoiding the usual jump-scare formula, its background score, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla's standout performance.
The first half works as a suspense thriller rather than horror, and the film's third act slightly loses steam before an effective climax.
