IIITs Expand AI/ML Education with New Programs

Two Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) are offering new programs to teach Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

IIIT Hyderabad is starting a six-month training program for undergraduate engineering students.

It will teach them AI and ML through classes on Sundays.

Students who do well might get a three-month internship.

Applications close on 20 February 2026.

IIIT Dharwad is launching a two-year online MTech program with on-campus sessions.

It's for professionals and students who already have a degree in a related field.

They need to pay Rs 88,500 per semester.

Both programs aim to give students strong knowledge and practical skills in AI and ML.
