81% of Indian students abroad plan to return to India

81% of Indian students abroad plan to return to India

Many students from India go to other countries, such as the United States, to study in colleges and universities.

A new survey asked Indian students who plan to study abroad what they want to do after they finish.

It found that 81 out of every 100 of them want to come back home to India.

One big reason is that the United States has made many new rules that make it harder for foreign students to stay.

For example, American officials now check students' social media accounts, and some students' school records were cancelled.

Many people disagreed with the changes and went to court, and some judges ordered many records to be restored.

The United States also put a large fee on some work visas and limited how many foreign students each university can accept.

Some students say they study abroad to gain new skills and global experience, not to live there forever.

The new rules make the old plan of studying, working and settling in America much harder.

That is why most Indian students now expect to come back home.
