Gen Z Becomes Political Battleground Ahead of 2029 Elections

Gen Z Becomes Political Battleground Ahead of 2029 Elections

In India, grown-ups vote in big national elections to choose their leaders.

The next big national election is set for 2029.

By then, young people will be the largest group of voters in the country.

Because so many of them will vote, political parties really want young people to like them.

Two important leaders are trying to win over young voters: Mohan Bhagwat, who leads a group called the RSS, and Rahul Gandhi, a famous politician.

They talk about things young people care about, like education, being treated fairly and peaceful protests.

Some people think the leaders truly care about young voters.

Others think the leaders are just trying to get their votes.

People discussed this on Times Now shows hosted by Madhavdas Gopalakrishnan.
