Shiva Jyothi Apologizes for Tirumala Annaprasadam Remark

Shiva Jyothi, a famous television anchor, visited the Tirumala Temple with her husband and friends.

While waiting in line for darshan, she made a remark about the prasadam (sacred food offering) that many people found offensive.

She said, 'We are taking costly prasadam in Tirumala… we are the richest beggars.'

This comment upset many devotees who felt it was disrespectful to the temple and the offerings.

Shiva later apologized, saying her words were misunderstood and that she never meant to insult anyone's faith.

The temple authorities have not yet officially commented on the incident, but many people are calling for action against those who make offensive remarks inside the temple.
