PM Modi Hoists Flag at Ayodhya Ram Mandir
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted a big saffron flag on top of the new Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
This was a very important moment because it shows that the main part of the temple is now finished.
The flag has special symbols like Om, the Sun, and a tree called Kovidara.
Many important people were there, including the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the head of the RSS.
They all said that this moment is very special because it shows that the wishes of many people who worked hard for the temple have come true.
The temple is very beautiful and has stories from Lord Ram's life.
The flag-hoisting was done in a special way, and everyone is very happy that the temple is finally ready.
However, some people from the Congress party said that the government is using this event for political reasons and that it goes against the idea of secularism in India.
They asked why the Prime Minister is hoisting a flag on a temple but not on other places of worship.
The government and RSS say this is a moment of cultural and historical significance.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted a 22 ft x 11 ft saffron flag atop the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
The flag features symbols like Om, the Sun, and the Kovidara tree, representing Lord Ram's lineage and values.
The ceremony marked the symbolic completion of the temple’s main structure and was attended by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The temple's architecture includes 87 intricately carved stone panels and 79 bronze panels depicting episodes from Lord Ram’s life and India’s cultural heritage.
The event coincided with Vivah Panchami, marking the divine union of Lord Ram and Maa Sita, adding spiritual significance to the occasion.
