Meta Unifies Facebook Videos as Reels, Removes Time Limits
Facebook is changing how it handles videos.
Soon, every video you upload will be called a Reel, no matter how long it is.
There is no longer a time limit for how long a Reel can be.
They're also renaming the Video section to Reels.
This update means it will be simpler for users to post all kinds of video, including long ones.
This change will happen gradually to everyone.
Meta will classify all videos on Facebook as Reels.
The update eliminates the 90-second time limit for Reels.
The 'Video' tab will be renamed to the 'Reels' tab.
The changes will roll out globally over the coming months.
This aligns with Meta's broader video strategy across its platforms.
