NIA Takes Over Investigation of IED Cases in Karregutta Region
Imagine a dangerous area near the border where people were planting bombs.
The government's special team, the NIA, is now in charge of finding out who did it and why.
They took over the investigation from the local police, who had already caught some people.
The NIA is looking at a bigger picture to understand how the criminals planned their attacks, including how they got the bombs and who helped them.
They're also trying to find out if the criminals were working with anyone from other places.
The NIA's goal is to make sure everyone is safe.
NIA has taken over the investigation of three cases involving IEDs in the Karregutta region.
The cases were initially registered by the Telangana police.
The NIA took over the cases on May 23 following directives from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
20 suspected Maoist cadres were arrested in operations conducted in mid-May.
The NIA will investigate the larger conspiracy, including the network and cross-border movement.
