Supreme Court to Hear Bhojshala-Namaz Site Dispute

Supreme Court to Hear Bhojshala-Namaz Site Dispute

The Supreme Court will hear a case on July 24 about a dispute over the location of a site for Muslim prayers near the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula complex in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

The Muslim community says the site is too far, while the state government says it is close and is working to find a better location.

The High Court had earlier ruled that the complex is a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati.

The Supreme Court has ordered that a separate open space near the complex be provided for Friday prayers.
