Van Der Beek Out of 'Dawson's Creek' Reunion Due to Illness

James Van Der Beek, the actor who played Dawson in 'Dawson's Creek', won't be able to attend the reunion reading due to a stomach illness.

The event is a live reading of the show's pilot to benefit F Cancer.

Lin-Manuel Miranda will be stepping in to replace him.

The event was organized by Michelle Williams.

Van Der Beek expressed disappointment about missing the event.
