IDFC FIRST Bank Rolls Out UPI Payments for NRIs with International Numbers
IDFC FIRST Bank is now letting Indian people living abroad (NRIs) use their regular phone numbers from countries like the USA, Canada, and others to make payments in India through UPI, like Google Pay.
This means they can send and receive money easily using their bank accounts, just like people living in India.
It works for people with special bank accounts made for NRIs, called NRE or NRO accounts.
The bank makes it easy for NRIs to manage their money.
