PowerToys to Enhance Multi-Monitor Control
Microsoft is adding a new tool called PowerDisplay to its PowerToys suite.
This tool will help people who use multiple monitors on their computers.
With PowerDisplay, you can easily change the brightness, contrast, and volume of each monitor right from your laptop screen.
Right now, managing these settings can be tricky, especially in Windows 11.
PowerDisplay will make it simpler by adding a menu in the taskbar.
The tool is still being tested, but it's expected to be released in early 2026.
This is part of Microsoft's effort to make Windows more user-friendly, based on feedback from users.
PowerDisplay is a new utility in Microsoft PowerToys for multi-monitor control.
It allows users to adjust brightness, contrast, and volume for each monitor independently.
The feature will be accessible via a context menu in the taskbar.
PowerDisplay is planned for release in the January 2026 PowerToys update.
The tool is currently available for early testing on GitHub.
