Jharkhand Forms Judge-Led Panel to Probe JSSC-CGL Irregularities

Jharkhand Forms Judge-Led Panel to Probe JSSC-CGL Irregularities

Many students in Jharkhand, a state in India, took a test called the JSSC-CGL exam to get government jobs.

They thought the test was not fair, so they held protests.

One student named Devendra Nath Mahto stopped eating and went on a hunger strike for eight days to show how serious they were.

The government leaders noticed and decided to talk to the students.

They promised to make a special committee led by a retired judge to find out what went wrong with the exam.

They also said they would look into money problems in another exam and make sure cheaters are taken to court quickly.

The Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, said that talking is better than fighting and that he wants to protect the students' future.

He also warned that some people might try to use the protests for their own political benefit.

The Governor said the government does not want to ruin the students' futures.

In the end, the leaders promised to investigate the problem and make things fair.
