Woman Delivers Baby in Car Outside Kerala Hospital
A young woman was going to a wedding with her family when she started having really bad stomach pains.
She was supposed to have her baby on January 22, but the baby decided to come early.
The family took her to a hospital first, but the baby was coming too fast.
When they got to a bigger hospital, the doctors saw the baby was already coming out.
They had to help the baby be born right there in the car because moving her could have been dangerous.
Both the mom and the baby are doing okay now.
The doctors and the family are happy everything turned out well.
A 21-year-old woman delivered a baby boy inside her car at the emergency entrance of VPS Lakeshore Hospital in Kochi, Kerala.
The delivery happened around 8 am on Sunday, January 4, as the baby was crowning upon arrival.
The woman had traveled from Kannur to attend a marriage function and went into advanced labor shortly after reaching the hospital.
Doctors conducted the delivery inside the car to avoid complications from moving the patient.
Both the mother and the baby are stable and doing well, with the baby admitted to the NICU for observation.
