Court Orders Charges Against Eknath Khadse in Land Grab Case
A court in Mumbai has decided to charge Eknath Khadse, a former minister in Maharashtra, along with his wife and son-in-law, for a land grab case.
The court said that Khadse used his position as revenue minister to get a piece of land for much less than its actual price.
The land was supposed to be bought by the government, but the family tried to get a big compensation from the government.
The court said that the family tried to cheat the government to get money they were not supposed to.
The next hearing is on December 18, and all three will have to be present.
