Wipro Expands in Navi Mumbai
Wipro, a big IT company, has rented a large office space in Navi Mumbai.
The office is 145,157 square feet and they will use it for five years.
They will pay about ₹97.25 lakh every month for the space.
The rent will go up by 5% every year.
Wipro already has a big office in the same place and this new space will help them grow.
The office will be ready on 7 January, but they don't have to pay rent for the first 84 days.
This shows that big IT companies are starting to rent more office space again as people go back to working in offices.
Wipro Ltd has leased 145,157 sq. ft of office space in Mindspace Business Parks, Airoli East, Navi Mumbai for five years.
The monthly rent is ₹97.25 lakh with an annual escalation of 5%.
The office space will be handed over on 7 January, with rent commencing on 1 April, including an 84-day rent-free period.
This lease follows Wipro's previous acquisition of 387,000 sq. ft at the same property last year.
The transaction reflects the growing trend of IT companies expanding their office footprint as employees return to the office.
