UPSC CSE Mains Admit Card 2026 Released at upsc.gov.in

The Union Public Service Commission helps choose people for important government jobs.

"Mains" is a big written stage of the civil services test, and in 2026 it will happen from August 21 to August 30.

Before a big test, students need an admit card, a special paper that lets them into the exam hall.

On August 14, the commission put the admit cards online on its official website, upsc.gov.in.

To see their admit card, students type in their registration number, password, and a security pin.

The card shows their name, photo, signature, roll number, exam centre, and the date and time of each paper.

Students are told to check that every detail on the card is correct and to report any mistakes.

The Mains starts with an Essay paper and also includes General Studies, English, an Indian language, and optional subject papers.

Students can only enter the exam hall with this admit card, so they should download and print it.

After printing, they should keep it safe and bring it on exam day.
