Several Delhi Monuments Restrict Entry During ASI Repair Work

Some famous monuments in Delhi are being repaired or improved.

Because of this work, visitors cannot enter certain parts of places such as Hauz Khas, Jantar Mantar, and the Red Fort.

The Archaeological Survey of India is carrying out the conservation work.

Some areas are closed to protect delicate buildings and artwork.

The inside of the Qutub Minar has been closed since a stampede in 1981.

Other projects are improving toilets, access, and visitor facilities.

The repairs cover 10 monuments or monument complexes.

The report did not say when all of the current restrictions began.
