Several Delhi Monuments Restrict Entry During ASI Repair Work
Some famous monuments in Delhi are being repaired or improved.
Because of this work, visitors cannot enter certain parts of places such as Hauz Khas, Jantar Mantar, and the Red Fort.
The Archaeological Survey of India is carrying out the conservation work.

Six Red Fort structures, including the Hammam, Moti Masjid, Diwan-i-Khas, Khas Mahal, Rang Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal, are restricted.
Works are also underway at Tughlaqabad Fort, Safdarjung Tomb, Humayun’s Tomb, Salimgarh Fort, and the Red Fort’s Lahore Gate well area.
ASI Delhi Circle spending allocations ranged from Rs 17.85 crore to Rs 36.61 crore annually between 2021-22 and 2025-26.
